STEAM Space School: Actura

EMPOWER YOUTH FOR FUTURE SUCCESS

Actura is the exclusive Australian partner of the CASE Space School International Study program which aims to deliver the once in a life time, best STEM experience in the most inspiring organisation, NASA. Building on the foundation of the ‘Seven Survival Skills’, Space School offers enriched STEM activities, inspiring leadership and personal developments. The program has empowered over 8,000 students worldwide, including Australia, in the past 14 years. These students are inspired to become more focused and inquisitive to pursue the subjects they are interested in. CASE is the California Association for STEAM Education is a non-profit organisation established by educators, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to advocate excellence in STEAM education through the development and implementation of innovative in-classroom curriculum and extra-curricular education programs.

Actura offers ABSA member schools the CASE Space School program – a forward-looking, unique and experiential based study program that complements conventional school education and strengthens critical development skills for students. Working with astronauts, engineers and scientists, we move away from the classroom to inspiring technologically-advanced locations, and apply a collaborative and contextual learning program. Students apply the critical survival skills they need to set and achieve goals for life.

ABSA and Actura together are looking forward to seeing more STEM-skilled Australian students. Through the strong ABSA network, we can offer even more students the opportunity to join this immersive international study program.
